In the style of a traditional Protestant hymn

Chorus

Jesus hear me, Jesus save me,

Lay your hands on my heart, on my soul;

I believe in you, I beseech you to

lead my life, shape my faith, take control.

Verse One

My doubts are abundant, my journey is long,

for your guidance, my voice I do raise.

Send a sign, light my way,

hear my thoughts as I pray,

precious Lord, I look up full of praise.

Verse Two

In this world of confusion, I look for the truth,

please reach down, give me strength from above.

I will follow your lead, I will help those in need,

I give thanks for your kindness and love.
