Last Pack of Cigarettes

Light up another one

Let the smoke drift in the fans,

Let the breeze blow light

on this hot summer night

Let the liquor bring out who I am.

Friends, sing another song

Have the guitar play one more tune.

Have me one more beer

Then I’m outta here

Where I sleep, I don’t give a damn.

Stoned to the bone

Doors are closed, I’m all alone.

She threw me out, without a doubt

so drunk there’s no going home.

Morning will come,

can’t fix what’s been done;

that one-two punch left a mark.

After closing time, leave me in the dark.

I’m living with my regrets.

smokin’ my last pack of cigarettes.
